4.Seldom add lubricating oil into bearing


Dust will make lubricating oil thickness so that can influence the rotation of shaft. Please add lubrication oil timely.

5.Force to stop screw shaft rotating after turning off machine


It’s very dangerous to do like this, otherwise it will make a great damage on screw shaft and motor. Therefore, we should make the machine stop naturally.

As we all know, screw conveyor has widely application in various industries, such as building materials, chemicals, power, metallurgy, coal carbon, food and other industries, and could be suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying. During operation of screw conveyor, once there are materials blocked in hanging bearing, which is called material backflow. If screw conveyor always occurs the phenomenon of backflow, then it will cause screw conveyor throughput greatly decrease. With regard to large capacity screw conveyor, the material backed flow is likely to undermine reducer, and result in reducer overburn as well as economic losses.
If it is seen from transportation process of screw conveyor, the speed of controller and slipping material determines the speed of material which is conveyed from screw conveyor. What’s more, conveyor filling coefficient determines the discharge time, and the speed is large or small depends on the size of screw arbor and motor. U type screw conveyor


The casing is designed to U type with a top cover which can be dismounted. It can be closed type or open type according to the working condition. For example: The following engineering drawing is a limestone production line of our Philippine client which consist of U type screw conveyor, bucket elevator and vibrating screen etc. U type screw conveyor is installed under the vibrating screen machine, which will transport different particle size material to the downstream machine. Here we suggest U type screw conveyor, the reasons are 1) Separately horizontally transport and transporting with 10 degree angle; 2) The limestone material is very abrasive, the top cover is easy to disassemble to change the screw blade and other wear parts, convenient to maintain; 3) Top cover has a better sealing, and it is easy to connect the dust collector etc.



Inclined pipe screw conveyor


The structure is pipe type with special gearbox, the rotate speed is faster than common conveyor. Then can achieve angle more than 60 degree. For instance: The following on-site screw conveyor picture is our Russian customer (AKER SOLUTIONS)’s projects. The “Aker solutions” purchased 18 sets LSY model screw conveyor for a cement production line which are installed under the cement silo. Here we propose Tube type screw conveyor, because: 1) It need to transport with 50 degree; 2) The material is easy to transport, almost no maintenance, running steady; 3) It has a good sealing performance, no dust pollution; 4) There are universal joint at the inlet and outlet, and easy to connect with others equipment.

Installation Requirements of Screw Conveyor

1. The foundation of screw conveyor should be completed 20 days early before installing screw conveyor so that it can make foundation solid and reliable and keep the spiral machine from subsidence or deformation, to ensure there is sufficient stability when screw machine is running. 

2. The casing assembly shall meet the following requirements: 

(1)Longitudinal straightness tolerance accounts for 1/1000 length, full-length straightness tolerance is 3mm. 

(2)Lateral straightness tolerance accounts for 1/5000 width. 

(3)The gap on both sides of the inner wall of casing and screw shaft should be equal, its tolerance is 2mm, the bottom of the gap tolerance also is 2mm. 

(4)The casing joints should be tight fitting. 

(5)The casing and frame should contact well. 

3. The tolerance between shaft and bearing center line registration is 0.5mm. 

4. The inner surface of the two adjacent casing, their mutual joints may not have obviously shifted. 

5. The foundation bolts should be tightened after screw machine sections have adjusted well. 

6. The low-speed shaft of driving device and forward shaft of screw machine should be in a unified axis. 

7. It should be welded inlet and outlet after the whole machine is installed well if they require site installation.
